The weekend is coming to an end.  How was it?  Did you fill yours with lovely memories?  Mine was busy and filled with the state fair, school and working.  Doesn’t that sound like fun?

Check out some of my favorite posts from the week!

Arantha over at Gourmet Beauty shares the absolute, bestest, greatest, at home treatment for your face.  Image Skincare is thebomb.com.

Attention Twilight fans:  Elvira over at Pink Sith shares a foundation that will give you Edward-like skin (which is good or bad, depending on your point of view…).

Have you guys tried the Too Faced Lipsticks yet?  I haven’t, but after watching Marlena over at Makeup Geeks review I’m dying to try them.

Looking to expand your beauty horizon?  Check out 10 YouTube beauty gurus featured on Life Wtih Aly.

Have you ever thought of trying microdermabrasion?  Raging Rouge gives a wonderful breakdown on how it works and what to expect (the esthetics student in me approves).

Watch Adri over at Liquor Lube and Lipstick get totally smashed(boxed).  I love her lovely (and easy) tutorial using Smashbox products!

I have been wanting to post about this for ages,  but Future Derm beat me to the punch.  This post is wonderfully written by John Su, he breaks down the differences between the chemicals in SPF.  A MUST READ.

I hope you guys have a great week!  Remember to drink H20 and wear SPF.  And I will leave you with that.

*This website will be down for 24 hours, starting at 5AM UTC (12AM CDT) on 8/20/12.  Lots of changes are happening here at Peace Love and Glitter (claps like a seal)!*

What I’m reading:

Amazing Olympic inspired manicure from Nailasaurus.  She is so talented, my clumsy hands can barely do a regular mani.  My life is terrible.

A $6.00 makeup remover that’s BETTER than Lancome’s Bifacial?  Shut the front door. Brittany over at Clumps of Mascara gives us the rundown.

The Beauty Department shows us a fun new way to apply eyeliner called “scalloping.”  Would you wear it?

I love love love eyebrow products and Cute and Mundane has an excellent review of the new Makeup Forever Aqua Brow.  It’s now on my need list, I need this!

We all know we need to take care of the skin on our face, right?  Sasha over at Crowsfeet Cupcakes and Cellulite tells why it’s important to nourish other parts of the skin.

Nicki over at The Cosmeholic gives a solid review and gorgeous swatches of the MAC Ruffian lipstick collection.  Ruffian Red = BEAUTIFUL.

At Makeup and Beauty Blog, Karen shows us the Sonia Kashuk Fall 2012 nail polishes.  They look amazing, and for less than $5?  Please and thank you.

Did you guys party hard this weekend?  I sure did, if “party hard” means wearing clay face masks and attempting a home manicure on my couch.  It was crazy.  My life is awesome.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday 🙂

I hope you guys had a great weekend!  Now it’s time to settle down and catch up on some readin’!

What I’m reading:

Check out the new NARS Eyeliner Stylo line over at Makeup and Beauty Blog.  They look amazing!

A $6 nail polish with an A rating from Temptalia?  Believe it.  I immediately ran out and bought it.

Check out Kate’s rundown of makeup brushes and how to use them.  She includes MAC and vegan options.

This is a gorgeous makeup tutorial by the beautiful and talented Marlena at Makeup Geek is nothing short of amazing.   I can’t wait to try it!

Gorgeous manicure alert from Aprill over at Glitter Gloss Garbage.  I really need to get on board with these indie nail polishes.

I knew that L’Occitane made a good hand cream,  but I wouldn’t have thought to try their Body Ice Gel (mostly because I have no idea what that is).  Kookie over at Stepford Witch shows us how it helped relieve a nasty sunburn.

Alina over at Makeup Moment gives a great review on Tarte’s Maracuja Miracle 12 Hour Foundation.  Tarte = one of my favorite brands!

Ah, Sunday.  Are you ready for another week?
