Mac 286 Brush

21 Dec

I was reading about some of the upcoming collections from MAC feeling quite underwhelmed (which is normal as of lately, they’ve been neglecting the quality over quantity method).  As I was scrolling through some promo images something caught my eye….

A new brush!  Now that is something a girl can get excited over!  Check it out!  Click here to read my full review and pics of this brush.

The brush is the MAC 286 Duo Fibre Blending Brush and it was first featured in one of their brush sets for the Ice Parade Collection (Holiday 2011). Due to a bad experience with a holiday MAC brush set in 2008, and reading/hearing several negative reviews about their holiday brush sets, I refuse to buy one ever again.

They are said the be a lower quality, scratchy, and the bristles have bad fall out.

This 286 brush is $30.00 and is new and permanent.  It is part of their Naturally Collection (Winter 2011).  This collection is set to launch on January 5th 2012 (North America).

The brush is said to be a mix for the 226 and 224 brush.  Click here to see my review and pics of the MAC 224.

I wasn’t lucky enough to get my hands on the 226 brush so I’m super excited about this one.  And the fact that it’s part of their permanent collection is nice too!

What do you guys think?  Does your brush stash have a need for the 286? *Read my full review of this brush here*
