EOS Body and Hand Lotion, Review

21 Nov

I love to moisturize. I think there is just something about taking to time to nourish your skin makes you feel luxurious. I say this while I’m sitting in gym shorts and and old college t-shirt… but gosh dang it, my skin is SMOOTH!

My skin is soft and smooth thanks to the EOS Complete Care Hand and Body Lotion.  I’ve been using it every day for almost a week now and I’m hooked.  I’m hooked, I tell you!

On the left is the EOS Everyday Hand Lotion the right is the Hand and Body Lotion.

There are 3 different varieties of this lotion; a revitalizing care,  an active care, and a complete care.  The revitalizing and active care claims to be for normal to dry skin, and the complete care claims to be for dry to extra dry skin.

I love, love, love this lotion.  I put on a generous amount after showering and it makes my skin feel amazing.  I also love that it comes in a pump, it just makes it that much more convenient.  No picking up a tube with your sticky lotion hands to squeeze out more lotion.  It soaks in pretty fast so there it doesn’t leave a greasy residue.  It also is lightly scented.

Next up is the EOS Everyday Hand Lotion.

The packaging is adorable.  I love it.

I like this lotion a lot, but I don’t LOVE it.  It’s a bit “water-y” and not as thick as I like my hand lotions.  A nickle sized amount covers my entire hands.  It does do a very nice job of moisturizing though, a good 6-8 hours.  If I apply in the morning I feel like I don’t need to reapply mid day. Also, I not particularly fond of the scent of this lotion.  It is supposed to be cucumber, but I feel like it smells like… a dirty cucumber… or something.  It’s fairly light though and wears away.

This also comes in 3 different formulas, an everyday, a berry blossom, and the cucumber.

I love the packaging so much I will probably repurchase, but probably in a different formula.

Glitter rating: 3 / 5

The hand lotion is $3.99 for 1.5 oz.  Available at Walgreens, EOS website, and Amazon.

The hand and body lotion is $7.99 for 12 oz.  Available at Walgreens, EOS website, and Amazon.

Have you tried any EOS products?  I’d like to get my hands on their shaving cream!

I tend to have very dry hands and most products don’t last that long. I picked up a bottle of the Holistic Honey Lotion from Made from Earth. This is the best hand lotion I have ever found. Made From Earth’s Honey Lotion keeps my hands feeling soft & silky.

I love the smell & the fact that it is made in the USA. It makes me feel great about supporting an AMERICAN company. I plan to be a repeat customer for a very long time….Made from Earth makes other products too-haven’t tried them yet, but I’m sure they are just as wonderful as the lotion.
